Our Journey

Five Decades of Faithfulness

From Ojijo Road to a thriving congregation in the heart of Westlands God has been faithful every step of the way.

1956

The Seeds Are SownSouthern Baptist missionaries started the work in Kenya, wanted to work among the Asians in the Parklands Area.

1967

The Church is Born Parklands Baptist Church is inaugurated.

1968

First Home The congregation relocates to Ojijo Road and Chiromo Lane near Parklands Sports Club, a small acreage that housed big dreams for over 20 years.

1990s

Explosive GrowthThe congregation began from 150 to over 800 members.

2000

A New SanctuaryThe church moves to its current home on Prof. Saitoti Avenue, Westlands. The new sanctuary is dedicated on 16th April 2000.

Today

Under Rev. Ambrose Nyangao's leadership, PBC continues to expand its reach through church plants, discipleship programs, and community impact across Nairobi.
